I have a Leopard Tortoise that's about 3.5 years old. And this weed I'm thinking about covering his tortoise table to hold in the humidity. Is it still worth it to cover his enclosure at this age? What I mean by that is, will it help reduce pyramiding at his age? Thanks.

As Jodie said it depends on where he is at in his life cycle. If he is smaller than 8" I would say it would be beneficial

Yes, cover it. The results will come slower than what you would see in a fast growing hatchling, but they will be positive. The existing pyramiding will not vanish. It will become less noticeable as the new growth begins to come in smooth. Be sure that you have a thermostat in place to control the ambient temp to avoid overheating in a closed chamber.
