What's the strangest thing you have caught your rads eating? While nothing surprises me these days, from finding them in the strangest places, to following you around. My male was having a bit of fine dinning on frog legs today! These guys are well fed and eat lots of food, **** bigger piles then our dog. So just shows these guys eat whatever comes along they feel like eating.

Mine will eat anything. Mushrooms, any green, any grass, anything. It wouldn't surprise me if I saw him eating a frog from the pond in his enclosure, not at all John. Interesting catch though. Lately my guy dug a nest under a yucca plant and has been hanging out under it. Usually he just finds a corner or hide.

* We have seen several of ours hunting for and eating those little grass snails.

I wish mine is not as picky eater as you guys' radiatas. Mine only eat grass, mazuri, plantago and some very few bites of hibiscus flower and lettuce...

Wow I've seen your big aldabra, and now you've finally shown us the crowds. How big are they?

I have never caught mine eating anything like that YET. That is pretty cool, and I thought only hillbillies ate frog legs:D

Well this male is a trip, it acts more like a dog then a tortoise. So you never know what trouble it's getting into one day from the next.
