sulcata drinking

Ok so i have seen some pics of sulcatas drinking and i have never seen mine drink, she just getts soaked in water, so is it just her or is it that they can do both.

I have never seen Percy drink either. Apparently some of them can be quite shy about it. But if you are soaking her enough she may not be wanting to drink a whole lot.

somtimes i'll catch my sulcata Patita with his/her head in the water bowl drinking water...its so cute:)

I see mine drink all the time. Mine are grazers for the most part. So thier food is drier. If you feed a lot of greens of moist food, they may not need as much to drink. They are getting it from thier food.

Mine drinks water all the time. It likes to drink from puddles my sprinkler system leaves.

It'll suck the whole puddle right up off of the cement.

It hates to be soaked. It's a fight every time.

I rarely see mine drinking. (And I watch them all the time :D)

Soaking is half a an hour twice a week:cool:
