Yeah, sounds like something more than a pinch. Hopefully the vet has a good resolution for you.
Hello and Welcome to the forum. Let me suggest these threads. It may help to post some pictures of the tort and enclosure. The temps seem way too cold. What are you using for UVB?

I have a box turtle that wasn't right and wouldn't eat, I took a small tub and filled it with food and put the turtle inside of the tub then placed it back inside the warm enclosure, she was completely surrounded with food. I left her alone for several hours, and I would peak in on her but she couldn't see me, she did begin to eat and now she is doing great. Just make sure the temps are above 80, that's a key.Your forums were actually some of the first things I read before I got Taz. Those were very helpful, I checked everything and I am all good to go. I wasn't able to get Taz into the vet until Wednesday afternoon. Do you have any suggestions on how to get her to eat in the meantime/ how to get her to make it to Wednesday. I honestly do not know what else to do for her.
