No, I got them from Kelly in Arkansas. This was their first chance to spend time outside. They spent it eating and exploring. I had to block off the brushpile which they found irrestible.Redfootedboxturtles said:looks like they had a ruff couple years. Are these rescues?
no, They only get out at sunny and 70 above. Nights are in 40's and 50's now. As season goes on, they will be out 24/7.Redfootedboxturtles said:I asked because I have a rescue that looks exactly like the cherry head. What I mean is the scales on the head where not quite normal. See how they are kind of pitted. Mine was also raised indoors.
But its great that they can get out and about.
Are you housing them outdoors? It would be cool to check out your pens.

I do not know she looks pitted. That is how she looked when I obtained her and it never went away. What causes it?
Looking good Itort. I know they enjoyed the outdoors when they were here.

A more humid "ambient" habitat will prevent that from happening! [ of course there are always exceptions ]
This is not rocket surgery or brain science...............
