how do you actually produce hypos??? is it one of the parents or both that lead to this variated progeny ?? i was always curious about this as these hypos have so many variations.....

Albinos’ , Hypo’s , Snows and Whites…… are all alterations to DNA called mutations, and they can result in the formation of new characteristics that are heritable.- Hypo is a recessive gene and it takes two individuals with that gene to produce
“visual hypos”. A pure Hypo bred to pure Hypo will give you hypo hatchlings - 100% of the time . A normal bred to a hypo will give you “het” for hypo…..will look much more like the "norm" butis carrying the hypo gene. Here is a great thread that explains a little more detail ..…http://www.tortoiseforum.org/thread-53058.html

if you would like to know more .. Just drop me an email ~
