I posted these pics last November of some of my young manouria,to show the difference's they have as youngsters.figured I would post it again since there are more TFO members that keep manouria.I will do an update pic of the 3 subspecies soon (maybe not the exact same 3 tortoises) Len

Look at that row of cacti behind them. :D I really enjoy seeing a grouping lined up like this, so you can go back and forth comparing them without having to flip pictures and loose something in the process. I do hope you use the exact same three, would be interesting to see the growth differences between them. Thank you!

That's interesting... I always thought the Mep was called the "black," but your Mee baby is much blacker than your Mep baby. Is the impressed the same age or older in those pictures.

Nice.
They hatch out at different colors the mee are sometimes green, time and growth will change the colors to where the blacks are blacker and browns are browner. The impressed is older by almost a year.

My little Mee were very dark green, and are now almost all black.

Very nice pictures, Len. I am really wanting some Impresseds now myself.
