Hello, I am brand new to the Forum and to having a Tortoise.
A couple day ago I got a about 4 and a half year old Russian Tortoise. At first he would not eat and it took him a couple days to start eating. But finally he started doing it on his own. (But he really loves lettuce.)
Anyways, I read that you're supposed to let the night time temp drop to 60 degrees. Well if I try to do that it's going to drop below that and he's going to freeze. So I'm not sure if that's hurting him at all. The temp on the cool side is always in the seventies and the temp on the warm side is almost always between 90 and 100 degrees but at night it goes to the seventies. I just want to be very well informed in this.
