Prickly pear cactus gets pretty large where I live. I cut this beauty earlier today. Here is Ozwald checking it out.

I found a prickly-pear cactus growing in my front yard.. unfortunately, it's not the spineless kind! I see tons of them, my neighbor across the street from me has an entire yard full of them.. even some of the reddish ones.

My big ones will eat a whole pad like that in about a minute. Its crazy how much they can put away.

I found a source about a month ago. She sent me this beast...almost two feet long...totally spineless and no glocchids! So far, I've got six pads from her with another batch due this week! I start planting next week!
