We have had our tiny baby Russian Clyde for 1 month so far. It took a week or two but he's settled into a morning routine. Each morning after the lights come on he comes out of his humid hide and stands at the entrance where he waits until I come pick him up for his morning soak. On his way to the bath I rub each of his feet, his shell, and his head. I believe desensitization is vital in any pet so if a vet visit is needed they are used to contact on all areas.
He stomps around his bath for about 20 minutes while I prepare everyone's morning coffee and breakfasts then pack lunches. After that I chop his food and return him and his veggies to his enclosure. He crawls into the center of the pile and chows down then he heads to his humid hide to sleep it off. Round noon he'll come out for eating round two and a quick stomp around his home then back to the humid hide for another nap.
So far dandelion greens and radicchio are his favorites but he also willing eats endive and spring mix. I am growing tsudeo seeds which will provide more variety soon. All in all he seems to be doing really well
