Make sure that it has EXCELLENT drainage or it'll get root rot. Water it no more than once a week.

Yes, they really need to dry out between waterings. Make sure the soil has a fair amount of sand mixed in for drainage. Perhaps a few rocks or packing peanuts or foam at the bottom too.

Great find! As the others have said, good drainage and letting things dry out between waterings is key. I have been watering mine about every week and a half and they seem to have been doing great so far
