My Eastern Hermann tortoise Charlie's home.
Wood from local home depot. Wheels as well. White tupper from Ikea. Total cost of table <$80.. Organic sod from a local farm (I've since reduced the amount in his enclosure for more soil and places to dig).
We set up a tripod with an old iPad hooked up to it. Using the 'Presence' app from the app store, we converted the iPad into a security camera. I log into the app from work or when I'm out and spy on him.
So far he's doing well. He is 9 months old and weighs a healthy 55 grams. Eats 2-3 times daily on a diet of organic dandelions from Whole Foods with M,W,F vitamin addition. We usually mix the dandelions with baby arugula, endives or other suitable/available veggies from the 'tortoise table uk' plant database.
