My baby Russian tortoise keeps crawling under his substrate lining. He lives in a wooden enclosure with coconut fiber substrate. The lining for the substrate is a cut shower curtain, which is held up on the walls with masking tape. He somehow tears it down and crawls underneath the lining. What should I do about this?

LOL, my adult Russian has done the same thing. I would pull the lining out and when you can you will have to replace it with a more durable lining. Pond liner would work good.
I pulled up mine, what I could get of it and where he ripped it. The rest that he doesn't bother I left until it's warmer and he's outside 24/7
