Tortoise Growth

The tortoise I rescued was only feed every 3 weeks because of this for his age he is quite small will he eventually grow to the size he would have been or will he always be smaller?

How terrible that he wasn't fed! I hope you can nurse him back to health, I am sure you can get some more weight on him, I just hope too much damage has not been done already.

New shell growth is coming he was 400g when I got him he is six years old he is know on a healthy 100% weed diet and has put on 60g
just wondered whether he would still grow as big as if he was always looked after?

I was given a 3 year old 3-toe box turtle that was the exact same size as my hatchlings...that is, about the size of a nickel. I kept it for a couple years then adopted it out. So at 5 years of age, it was still the same size as when I got it, while my hatchlings had tripled in size. So chances are your little guy will be stunted in growth, but with good food, water and care, he should grow healthy, if not larger.
