Not sure if this is where I should post this but thought it may be health related. Ok so we have 2 very small young red foots. One we have had 3 months and was 1 month when we got him the other we have had since Sunday and are unsure of age but she's TINY! We started tracking weights on Sunday. Our bigger one was 58g and smaller was 27g. I weighed again today and one was 60g the other was 28g. My question is how much weight is healthy to gain? Our new one was not fed properly by a previous caregiver, she has a soft shell and had previously had eye issues which are better now. Thanks! ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1432740551.740608.jpg

You'll find differences in weight from day to day. Weighing daily will drive you nuts.
Do it bi weekly or once a month. Use your average from the last two days as a baseline.
Any gain is what I look for as it is the best indicator of health in a baby.
