True update on Bob

He has no large masses, he does have digestive gas (really? I smelled that), bad. What causes that? She didn't know. He is well hydrated.
Get this, his abdominal bones have not grown together yet. There's cartilage between the bones, it means he's young and gonna be huge according to the distance between the bones.
They found 4 or 5 red blood cells per a certain amount of urine, maybe that's what the big stone caused, but we will be watching that. She says it will take years for his carapace to heal from the burns. I must keep Vitamin E oil on it, (so it can mix with dirt and make him look like Pigpen).
So it's all good. They say he looks real good inside...
I, however, don't look good inside or out, I feel like S**t, so I'm gone...

@Tom - Bob's heat light was down too close to the top of his carapace, and even though he had the whole shed to move around in, he chose to sit directly under the light and burn his carapace. The scutes directly on top have lifted - not all the way, but loose on one side of them. As to the title of this thread - she has another thread going called "sort of an update on Bob"

I was very sick and my neighbors were caring for my animals....just sticking up for myself... The damn 150 watt Powersun was 3 freaking inches away from his carapace, he burned all his new growth and made the older scutes raise up like they are going to come off. He's covered with Vitamin E oil....

I really do hope your health improves. We all know you've been through more than lesser people are capable of handling. Also... EVERYONE knows how much you love Bob and how well-looked after he is. We hope he heals quickly too.
