Yesterday I took 1 tub to a ups store to get some sort of idea regarding shipping charges for the tubs.
I wanted a worse case scenario idea. The zip code used was a rural zip of 01337. In hind sight, perhaps I should have gone to the distribution center because the cost is obscene.
The charge for 1 tub comes up to … please sit down, $214.10. This is based off the actual weight of 15.5 lbs.
The charge doesn't change much for multiples in that they nest very well together. I would imagine the shipping cost not changing more than $25.00 by going to the distribution center but we shall see. For zip codes supplied to me, I will find those specific charges.
For me this is a great let down. I have access to possibly 100 of these and that may dry up shortly. I was hoping to share this find.
