I'm getting a Tunisian hatchling and wondered what the best set up for it would be.
I live in the UK so our house is quite cold at this time of year. I have a Russian that I kept in a tortoise table at first, but he became very inactive so he is now in a vivarium and seems much happier, but I have noticed the vivarium is much more humid than the table was, and I have read Tunisians like a hot dry environment ? but then again hatchlings need humidity, I'm confused !
So I guess I'm asking, vivarium or indoor rabbit cage ? and what would you advise for substrate, I use topsoil and coir for my Russian, but again worried by the dampness issue...........
Any advice and pictures of your set ups would be gratefully received.
