My two new indoor set-ups are just about done. 2 Leopards 2 Stars, about 12-18 months old. The sizes are 5 x 7 and a 5 x 5 for the stars. Was thinking about using the ReptiTherm on one end of each. Any pro`s and con`s about there use? Would it be better to use 2 che lamps on both ends?

I have a heat mat & MVB on one end and a CHE on the other to create a decent temp gradient. I will say I'm very partial to the CHE when it is hooked up to a thermostat, it's efficient and keeps temperatures pretty constant on the cooler end of the enclosure (75-78ºF). If I wasn't such a firm believer in UVB, I'd supplant the ZooMed ReptiTherm Habitat heater & MVB with another CHE and thermostat.

However you decide to do it, just be sure you've got a good temperature gradient going.
