Someone put another box turtle in the back yard,I still haven't found out who left the last one. This one is so tame it's hard to make make her close up, so I figure she has been in captivity for a while somewhere.

Yep. Kind of odd though that someone put turtles in your yard. Though as far as tame goes Blue who has only known me or humans for that matter since March actually climbed into my lap the other day.

I live in a small beach town, where everyone knows just about everyone or someone you know, knows them. what is odd abut the turtles this year is that I don't know who put them there, in time I think I will find out, one person ask me a few weeks ago if I would take a box turtle that his daughters had and I told him where to put it if no one was at the house when he came with it,other than that no one else has ask.some of the other things that are left here by (at that time) unknown donners are tort food from gardens, restaurants, and road side stands, plants, fresh vegetables, seeds, flower pots, I even found 50 cents on the bumper of my truck the other day, have no idea what that was for. I will leave things out for people to pic up out front if no one is going to be home.I love living in a small town full of mostly old people.

When I was younger I lived down in Monterry Mexico with my Tio John. The area we lived in was sort of like that. Here on the other hand I have locks on the outside and window screen on the inside of of my pen in addition to the hard ware cloth covering. Though the hardware cloth and screen I would have used regardless. The locks I don't know I think I would have just used latches.
