Wanted to let everyone it has been a week since I got the new one and the first time I have used the turtletary care sheet. I have seen a difference. By a difference I mean that this little one has been so much more active and not hiding also the watery eyes have been so much better then when I got my first 2 last year. It has to be because of no uvb bulb, bright lights and misting them till they drop. :D. I can't wait to see what the shell looks like in a year. I will keep up dating as time goes by on how the care sheets are working for us.
Thanks for reading,
Teena W

Here's my Cherry Head after three years using Terry K's care sheet. The only difference was that I kept him in a planted vivarium. But I followed the food, and lighting and humidity. I started him on this care sheet when he was 1 month old.

Is there a link to this care sheet? I should be getting a hatchling in the next few months, if all things work out!!

Nevermind...just found it.

Someone is smiling ear to ear in Tennessee right now!

For everyones information, it is my opinion that sulcatas do very well under the same moisture routine as redfoots and it produces similar results in the shell. Obviously lighting and diet are different.

Terryo, I can't ever recall seeing a nicer shell than Pio's in a captive raised tortoise. It is so smooth, round, full and symmetrical. Just gorgeous. Makes me smile every time I see it. Which reminds me... you don't post enough pics of Pio for us. Between the beauty of Pio and his enclosure, I think we ought to get at least a daily pic. Like a daily Pio calendar, you know?
