Two Russian torts

So I have two torts bolt the female and squirtal the male. I think they are both mature i wanted to know if they can be in the same encolser

If it were me, I'd only put them together to breed - maybe for a day or two. The male will pester the female until she feels she has to stay hiding in a corner to get away from him...she may even stop eating.

Or if you can set them up outside in a big, safe habitat with plenty of hiding places so she can get out of his sight, then it would be ok for them to live all the time together.

Just to elaborate on what Yvonne said about setting them up outside in a big, safe habitat..

Big means really BIG! start with a 20' x 20' space if you are serious about trying to house them as a pair. I kept 1 male with 3 females in a 20' x 6' and he pestered those poor girls. 2 of them stopped eating. I decided to break up the group. Be prepared to do the same...
