The outside substrate is just regular gardening soil with some coconut fiber mixed in. The indoor substrate is coconut fiber, dessert sand, and I can't remember what the other stuff is but I'll try to check soon- I find she likes to burrow in the combination of the three much better & it's a lot easier for her. wellington, she has plenty of shade. If you look in the upper right corner of the enclosure you'll see an opening, the opening goes into her sleeping enclosure (the lid was off at the time bc I wanted to give her a soaking) she goes in there to sleep and for shade. You'll see it's set up exactly like ZooMed's tortoise enclosure but MUCH larger. We're working on buying plants, it's just taking longer than expected bc we need to find them first.
