So, my Red Foots UVB light burned out today. I don't get paid till Friday. I was wondering if he would be ok for a few days without that light. He still has his normal daytime heat light and his red light at night. He also has his under tank heat source.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!

They can go a few days or weeks without a UV bulb, if they've been getting UV previously. Do you have a meter? Was the bulb giving off good UV prior to burn out? Does your tortoise go outside for real sunshine?

You shouldn't use a red bulb over a tortoise. They need it dark at night and red bulbs mess with their circadian rhythms. Instead use a CHE controlled by a thermostat.

Undertank heaters should never be used for tortoises. Seen too many burn cases.

I don't know where you live but 30 minutes to an hour outdoors in a sunny area with access to shade will do better than any bulb as long as it's over 75 or 80 degrees until you get a new one.
