Weed??? Hmmm... If it weren't just plain green I'd say: Coleus (leaf shape and growth habit), but I'll let the experts pitch in

I don't know but I'm mighty jealous of your weed patch! Was there a seed mix in there at one point?

I threw down some seeds from TortoiseSupply and CarolinaPetSupply. I do not know if the plants grew from the seed mix or not. I am afraid to feed it to my tortoises since I am not sure what it is and if it is edible.

I believe the Tortoise Supply sometimes contains chia seeds? Looks awfully similar, I think?

If it sprouts blue flower spikes, you'll know for sure!

Chia is a salvia and listed as safe to feed in the Tortoise Table, so long as you do not feed any seeds the plant may produce.

Of course if you don't feel comfortable with it, best not to feed.
