It'll take him a while to settle as he isn't used to his surroundings yet and still a little unsure.
Just try and give him as much alone time as possible but make sure he knows it's you that feeds him etc and I'm sure his personality will come through in the next few weeks

Temp should be no lower than 80f at any time, especially if your enclosure is humid. I keep humidity at 80%, but my Leopards aren't even a year old yet.

Yeah...coco coir, orchid bark, and cypress mulch are some of the more common substrates used for Leopards.
