Well I'm a Newbie from South Louisiana!

I'm very new to the Tort world. I will be getting my first Russian Tortoise in a couple of weeks. The temperatures are to hot right now for travel. I'm currently getting everything set up; indoor/outdoor habitat, plants, etc. Any tips would be great. I have been meeting Tort Keepers already that are very helpful. Just want to cross my T's and dot my I's. Also her name is Donatella!! I'm beyond excited.

Hello and Welcome. Just be careful where you get your info from. There is still a lot of old, bad, and outdated stuff out there. Even Zoos and Vets are not up to date, and surely pet stores aren't.
