What is this plant?

Hi everyone!
I was just wondering if anyone knew what this weed is and if it's safe for a Herman's tortoise to eat? It's everywhere by my house and I just want to make sure it's ok for Razkal to be running around near it. Thanks!

That is mallow. It is edible, but as it grows and gets older, not so palatable. The tortoises prefer it when it is younger. Also called cheese weed.
