Be very careful. Most vets have no idea what they are doing with tortoises and frequently do more harm than good. If they offer a "vitamin injection" politely decline and realize that the vet offering this service does not know torts medicine. Vets also tend to have and teach all the same old wrong info that the pet shops and most other people have. Just be forewarned.
