I have to say now they are on the top of the list. Lol they are my friends and when I asked where they got them and What they were. They said "got them in China town Chicago and the the guy that sold them didn't speak very good English so he didn't tell them anything. He gave them the food and said live 3 years.

They get big and can easily live 30 or 40 years. The ones sold in china towns are often sick, are they eating?

Yes they are eating really good and fast as lightning when they wanna be! Lol one of them did a dive out of my hand! Luckily I caught him. It didn't even go in his shell. Scared me to death my heart skipped a beat!!! They gave them these little like stick food is that OK to feed them and how long would a 30 gallon tank be good for them to live in.

Very cute they were one of my first turtles when I was a kid, Wish there
was more information on how to take care of them back then.
What guy selling them probably meant was live three years cause by then they are on there dinner plate.

It's good they are eating sticks but at that age they will love live food, black worms from the pet store is one of the easier foods to feed.

A 30 gallow tank is the perfect starter tank for two babies BUT for the pair to be reasonably happy as adults I would consider a 125 to be about the right size. I had one adult male for a few years in a 58 gallon (36x18x18) in my apartment. It was the biggest I could have in my apt so it had to do but it was the absolute minimum for a single turtle and it wasn't really big enough imo. I wish I would of been able to have a 75.

Adorable! They will get big fast. Make sure they have a basking light and spot.
