I was curious what pH do you keep your water at,those of you that keep terrapins, I mean? Mine is usually about 7.8 or so. Also does anyone else test water chemistry?

our three girls are in a natural-ish pond setup, with a range from 7.6-7.8, they were raised freshwater so we have kept the levels consistent for them. i have only heard of converting them from fresh to brackish and visa versa, but have never attempted this.
