What type of tortoise is this?

I’m second guessing myself I don’t know what type or tortoise this is!! I’m gonna get it for one of my friends as a bday present.

Your friend may appreciate the shirt, but I doubt they'd want a sulcata tortoise. . . especially if he lives in a climate where the winters are cold.

Please research sulcata tortoises before you buy. Sulcata tortoises are not a good surprise gift.

A tortoise is a horrible gift to give someone unless they specifically asked for one and a specific species
This species is the cheapest part of buying. All the supplies it will need will cost a few hundred dollars and that's just for now.
Buy them the shirt not the tortoise

If your questions is about the tortoise on the T Shirt, it's a baby SULCATA tortoise.
T Shirts are easy to care for.
A 150 pound bulldozer that needs a quarter of an acre as an enclosure is not.

Lol I gotcha, I am getting him the shirt! I actually have a sulcata I was 99% sure it was a sulcata just wanted to be 100%. My sulcata was givin to me because the past owner didn’t know what he was doing! He is doing much better after talking with Tom and building a huge new enclosure of him!

I love the idea of a tortoise T-shirt, but I'm not so keen on supporting woke communist companies that are conspiring to destroy our country and harm our children. Maybe you could find a different shirt?

This is Carlos! This was taken after a soak. Yes he has bad pyramiding but he now has the right lights and humidity in his enclosure. He has already gained some weight since he has been in the new enclosure. The new enclosure is pretty big but I know eventually he will out grow it!! I learned so much in the past month about him, stuff I didn’t even know existed until now. I have a garden outside currently growing for him specifically but for now I pick wild weeds I know are not sprayed and good grocery product. He seems to really love life now I’m gonna be trying my hardest to take the best care of him possible especially cause I’m in Kentucky.
