I was wondering if anyone could help me find somewhere that I can get a tortoise that is not that expensive.

Look on both Fauna Classifieds and Kingsnake.com which have lots of ads for various species.
If you know what species you want to buy, there is a pretty good chance that one of the members of this forum breeds them. Buying a tortoise from one of the members here will help to ensure that you get a healthy, well-started baby.
Have you priced/bought any the supplies and habitat needed to care for a tort. Cheap is not a word i use for torts

We have awesome breeders here on the forum.@Tom is the first that comes to mind but you will get a healthy, well started tortoise from many members here.

I just bought an adult Redfoot tortoise from Southern Reptiles last week. Shipping was excellent and tortoise was immediately active upon arrival and is already eating a lot. Ryan the owner is also on this forum it seems. @Southernreptiles
I got a baby redfoot from Will at Kapidolo Farms. He is a great tort.
What makes you think that tiny baby is a female. WAAAAAAAYYYYY too young to tell.
That's not the 2yr.old tort. He's only 5months old. He's not for sale.
