I just soaked him, and once I came back, this white stuff was right behind him, and I am sure he pooped it out. he is a pancake tortoise, and he is 3 months old.

I know very little about this particular species, but what you’re seeing there are urates, if rock hard like that, it could’ve been a bladder stone, usually a sign of lack of hydration

But let me tag @Yvonne G for more assistance, hopefully she’ll know who to tag also🐢💚

How’s his humidity? You could try offering foods with a higher water content for a few weeks, usually not recommended because of the low nutritional value, but things like cucumber, lettuces etc and you could give the food a spray

If a bladder stone my thoughts would be prior (bad) care to you and now it has come out, which means he'll live, if it doesn't it kills. I would agree keep up the humidity and soaking to get him back on track for a healthy life.

1. Where did you get him and how long have you had him?
2. If he is escaping from the soaking container, you need to use a different container immediately. I use dishwashing tubs from Walmart or plastic shoe boxes. The tortoise should not be able to reach the top, and you don't need a rock in the soaking tub.
3. Soak daily for 30-40 minutes. Since you are seeing urates, I would soak for 45-60 minutes. Keep the soak water warm for the entire soak.
4. 60% humid is too low for a baby. This also tells me you have an open topped enclosure. Those don't work for this species, or any species that needs high humidity.
5. It doesn't matter if you see him drinking. They take on water anyway.
6. What substrate are you using and is it damp?
7. Does he have a humid hide in the enclosure? Any potted plants?
8. Show us a picture of the enclosure and we can offer suggestions for improvement. Realize that you have a serious problem, and we would love to help you solve it quickly.
