White ring on shell

My horsfield has a white ring on his shell?

Any ideas what it might be?

It's new growth, nothing to worry about.

I think that is probably new growth.
What age is your Russian and how long have you had him?
If you post pics of his enclosure and the lamps you have members can check to make sure there's nothing else affecting him.
