What do you all do with your Sulcatas in the winter? I know some build enclosures and heat them.

What is the minimum temperature that Sulcatas can handle?

I have a high crawl space that doesn't get below 50 degrees in the winter. Maybe I could block part of that off?

Just getting some ideas before (if) I purchase one.

Thanks.

Hi Austin....you will find great threads here on the forum for this exact subject.....sheds heated seem to be the winning method....you can likely do a search and gather multiple ideas.....I would attach some threads here for you....but well, I suck at it :(

Thanks everyone. Well after reading up on sulcatas, I've decided not to get one. It would be irresponsible for me to get a turtle that grows that large although they are stunning in my opinion. I'm going to stick with my gut...box turtles. :)

There are threads on that here too. We keep hand and feet warmers to temporarily heat the torts just in case!
