The previous owner of my torts gave me a bottle and said she used it every now and again- Does anybody else use this?

Many people use misting bottles. Myself included. You can use it to supplement your humidity.

Wow! Never seen it before. It seems to be for animals that shed their skin.

It's made for reptiles that need extra humidity. I got some to spray on top of my leopard's head, since she never soaks that spot, and has stuck shed on it.

I keep meaning to use it more often...

I have that too..because it came with the "kit" I initially bought with my tortoise before I knew anything about them.

BUT I used it a few times..it probably works better with reptiles who shed more often, but I don't see a harm in using it once in awhile.
