Thanks!

I recently bought my wife a tortoise for her birthday. He is now our son and the center of our lives. His name is Meriel.

My wife was skeptical at first when I bought my first tortoise but now she’s attached to him/her as much as me! It’s such a joy to have a tortoise 🐢
Just recently bought a Marginated Tortoise and I'm IN LOVE! He is a month old and is the most cutest tortoise ever, he loves taking naps with me and he loves being with his mama. I often let him walk around on my bed and he always comes too me and lays either on my neck or my stomach. I'm not sure why he does but he loves to cuddle.I've never seen a tortoise with such personality and never fails to make me laugh.
I am making MONSTRO! available...but he is going to be $2000! I really don't wanna let him go at all...but am putting more time into my wolves...having less time for him!

Happy Spring everyone. I’m happy to say that Rock & Roll made it through their first winter of brumation. They look happy and healthy. Still not moving too much. They’re still pretty much dormant. Is there anything else I need to do. Also, because of the rain there are lots of weeds coming up between the rocks. Should I pick them or will R&R eat them?

Welcome to the forum. I joined last year since I’m tortoise sitting my son’s torts since they were 2 months old. I love them. Who would have thought that they have such personality.

I know. You can't explain that personality until you have them yourself. So clever and love watching everything you do
How do I send you a picture? I don't even know how you reply with a picture with your message

The person I got it from said a 40-gallon tote would be fine. I just want to know if all the substrates need lights. Do I need a mister or fogger? Lol Sorry I am new to this
Good day everyone. I have different species of tortoises available for sale. Redfoot, sulcata, aldabra, leopard, albino, star and hermann tortoises available. You can contact me for more details.

Do you still have hermann’s available?
I am afraid the vet did not agree with Daisy’s prognosis. And made me surrender her to a rescue.
She said she was suffering from liver failure. And a rescue needed to take care of her. Every time she moved, her skin would flake off.

She was out growing her shell and that was very painful. All because she hasn’t hibernated in who knows how long.

The toenails and beak were the least of her problems.
I was reading a comment and lost it when I was trying to login.
It was concerning the health of my inherited three toe. I will look for a vet for it tomorrow. I have more photos to share.

Hi and welcome.
Have you posted on the main forum in the Introduction thread yet? You'll get a lot more responses there. Not everyone reads profile posts and text count is limited so would be great to hear more about your tort on the forum.
Hi, I was wondering if you know of any breeders of radiated tortoise in utah or California, Washington state ? Thank you

Reid Sneddon of SoCal Reptiles used to have Radiateds. He may be able to help you in CA.:

None in UT. One in WA, Ross Popenoe who is gradually getting out of the game. His email: [email protected] Phone: 425-591-4773

Which of the three states are you in and how do you plan to buy any Radiateds from the other two states?
Tom, Adopting a young Redfoot in Colorado. Will have an outdoor enclosure but the tortoise will be inside too. Would your 4X3X3 enclosure doubled meet her space needs as a full grown Redfoot? Current pricing with shipping (80526) and availability? We bring our RF home on 03/19. What approach is used with your enclosures to be sure the humidity is at the right level?

I don't make or sell enclosures. Sorry. An 8x3 foot enclosure is not large enough for an adult RF. You'd need somewhere around double that. RF is not a good species for CO, unfortunately.

Oops, sorry for the confusion! Thanks
