When browsing the forum just this morning and clicking to return to the "new posts" somehow I was given the option of "recent posts". Don't know exactly how that happened as I clicked on it by reflex as I always click on "new posts". However, I was much more pleased with the results as I saw the post I was just browsing still in place on the list. So - is there a way to select "recent posts" instead of "new posts"? I can't find any "recent posts" choices anywhere on the forum now!!
The reason I like this is that I often am viewing a post, and maybe go and check that posters previous post for reference - where they live, what type tortoise, etc. Or maybe look to a previous topic to copy and past a like. When I want to go back to the post I now want to reply to, I often have a heck of a time finding it. Unless I've noted the forum section it was posted under, or search by (and can remember) the poster's name, or happen to remember the exact way they titled the post, I cannot find it. It is a lot easier going down the list of recent posts, and being able to go back to one if needed. With "new posts" any one I've happened to click on already will not show up at all.
I'd love to have the option of "recent posts" instead of "new posts"!
