Thank you forum...I adopted a Red Footed from a family who could care for him. Well after two weeks, no poop, he ate but nothing. Somebody from here mentioned a heat source wow...his enclosure has a range 75 to 105. Night time 75 solid daytime 105. He does have spots cooler, 80. But he is now moving around, walking his enclosure and biting all the plants...I picked up fresh sage plants and lavender...and mix in with his food..Thank you guys..tomorrow our first vet visit ....Lakeview union lake Michigan...20180325_090823.jpg20180326_092104.jpg20180319_085606.jpg

Can’t really tell too well from the pic, but is all that white powdery looking substance calcium powder?

105 is at the one location. at 530 am I turn off night lights its 95 degrees. humidity is 70 to 80 percent. My enclosure is open air so the heat isnt contained it is spread out and leaves. The coolest location is 75 at one end covered in a canopy, yes flowers are getting ready to bloom and the hide(log
) in the dirt is 75. Today is a vet visit, Lake view, Stan.lee has a hairline crack at his top scutes . I am also concerned about his unusual formation of scutes...

Not sure, but that looks like way to much calcium. You should use just a light sprinkle.

Thank you, banana, canned dog food and calcium but will watch powder. I mix different food daily...sprinkle goes a long way. Thank you

Sprinkle a very small amount of calcium on the foot. Offer deep shade so he has cooler spots to hide in. Put hides under the plants.

What is that plants? It looks like a member of the squash or grape family. That’s edible if so.
