Hi does anybody know where I can get a care sheet for a Tunisian tortoise as I am interested in getting one? What sort of substrate is suitable for them and are the care requirements closer to an Egyptian tortoise or a greek?

The Tunisian is a subspecies of Greek tortoise, so care will be similar. I know Chris Leone is working on an updated Greek Tortoise Care Sheet but I don't think it has been finished and posted yet.

I do know the Tunisian is very sensitive to cool/cold temperatures and high humidity, so the best environment is more "hot and dry." Here's a link to them on my website that provides some information. https://sweetgreektorts.com/nabeulensis

That's a very well put together web site. Thanks for the link.

I'm from the UK so unfortunately thats not an option I'm trying to find a breeder that's relatively local to me but the Tunisian seems to be quite rare where I'm from.

They are pretty rare everywhere. Chris is the only breeder I know of who has them here in the States. I believe there is a Testudo graeca breeder in Italy, or near there, who has them. I'll find his info and pass it on.

I appreciate that but that is still pretty far away I do believe that there are a few in England where I live but they don't use reptile couriers so it's just a matter of travelling to them thank you for the offer though
