Hey I’ve been looking into isopods and was wondering if I was able to use them in my red foot enclosure to help keep clean?

Yes you need to be in the 2 to 3.5 range directly under the uvb at tortoise top of shell height.Hey it’s been a long time!
I had gotten my uvb meter/solarmeter a few weeks ago and checked on my redfoot enclosure. I noticed some areas were kinda low levels so I moved it closer to his enclosure and it’s now reading 3-4’s mostly and up to 5.4 I seen at its highest .
When I was reading it says they prefer levels 2-3.5 (not sure if this is accurate?) but just wanted to make sure I have updated information. N was wondering if these levels higher then 3.5 are dangerous? Or will it be fine.
What do your UVB levels read ?? And what’s best for redfoots?
I have a Arcadia 12% 24 W
Thank you brotha , big help as usualYes you need to be in the 2 to 3.5 range directly under the uvb at tortoise top of shell height.
10-2pm works fine for your uvb, or 12-4, more than enough exposureThank you brotha , big help as usualhe’s good to go now.
Also is 10-4 still recommended time for the UVB on or should I run it 12 hrs with other lights ?
