I’m wondering where to put my tortoise hide. Under the heat lamp, away?

My tortoises sleep as far away from the heat as they can get as long as it isn't cold.
By cold, I mean under 65.
I like to offer a couple spots... a warm one and a cool one. My torts like to mix it up

You might want to watch where your tortoise goes to sleep....and put the hide there. Some like it cooler, some like it warmer.....
In the enclosure!
I put them right up against the enclosure wall, and one at each end.
