Its been a long wait but one has finally made its way out of the egg and 3 others are slowly making there way out. Came home from work this morning and found this little guy tearing around in the incubator.

Wow, that's a very unique looking leopard. Do you have pictures of the parents?
Some of mine have passed the 170 day mark....

Thanks for the comments everyone!

A second one has made his/her way out of their egg, still has a bit of a yolk sack to absorb but looks good.

Oswego tort lover : I live just outside of Toronto, Canada.

Neal: I have a few eggs from a different clutch that are right around the 170 day mark to. When candled they dont show any real signs of developing... and to be honest they dont really look all that great, but Im to afraid to throw them out just yet!

Here are the parents

The female was really dark as a baby, and the male was much lighter.

Bummer, I was going to ask if you wanted to trade some hatchlings. I think getting across the border would be an issue. Nice looking parents.

Im pretty excited! I dont think I've seen anyone up here with hatchlings (at least not on the forums) since I started keeping them 6 or 7 years ago . Four are hatching now, and I will have 22 eggs left to wait on!

That's awesome Dave!..Good to see Canadian Torts. The price they get for them up there, you'll only need a few more clutches to retire, hahaha.

Hm that is interesting. Is the scute on the back one scute opposed to two seperate ones? That's going to be interesting as it grows...

120 days! Wow!

The second one is very interesting. We've all seen split scutes, like on his sides, but I've never seen JOINED scutes like on the top. He/she is gorgeous either way.
