It is hard to get a picture of our entire group all out at once. Here is a picture of our 11 aldabras at our program, we have 4 males and 7 females for now. That is expected to change soon!

I wonder why Mother Nature decided the males should grow bigger than the females.

Looks like a little army. They are the best. Do these guys live in groups in the wild? Yours always seem to be cool with each other.

I'm amazed at the size differentiation between the sexes. It's hard to believe the males don't crush the females during mating.

We have found that these size differences are a major factor in our higher production levels at our breeding program. These older mature males are what is necessary for successful fertility. We have had many younger and smaller males at our program and they have all been epically unsuccessful with production capabilities.
