I've just got myself two hermanns - khaleesi and drogo and just can not wait to get started. I've found that there is so much to learn about them and I'm wanting to all and heard about this. I've found the guys in the pet shops here are about as useful as a chocolate teapot. He never mentioned that they need uvb but that's the past so any advice tips criticism ideas do's and don'ts are all very welcome. I'll get some pic up asap thanks all.

Hello and Welcome. Great care sheet under their section. Start there if you haven't already. One big no no is having tortoises in pairs. They don't do go in pairs. One will be the bully. Keep a close eye out for any little sign of this and be prepared to give them their own enclosures

Welcome, fellow Game of Thrones fan.
Pet shops are in the business of selling tortoises. Luckily no one mentioned a UVB light because they likely would have sold you a problematic light like a compact, coiled CFL florescent bulb.
Be prepared to keep them in two separate enclosures.
A lot of first time keepers buy a pair. Pairs don't work out.
(I started with a pair, myself.)
