Which one is the mother of Emmie and the little brat?

In the top picture, you see two intergrade Mep/Mee on each end. The second from the left is Darth, the male and father of the intergrades and of Emmie and "the brat." The second from the right, the one with all the breeding scuffs on her carapace, is Emmie's and the brat's mother, Medea. She's the one who worked this past month on building the nest, then abandoned it. For the past few nights she has been pooping out an egg or two in the shed. I've been able to salvage 3 so far, but the others were broken.

In the other picture, the one on the left is an intergrade and the one on the right is the intergrades' mother.

Of the four intergrades that we kept back, two have Mee characteristics and two have Mep characteristics.

Beautiful Yvonne. Quick question, do you house the MEP indoors during winter months or do you leave them outdoors?

Hi Michael:

All of my tortoises live outside 24/7/365. The ones that have to be kept warm in the winter have heated sheds. Here's a link to the Manouria's shed:
