Greg, there are always albino torts for each species. So far I've seen sulcata, leopard, hermann and egypt, but I think I never see albino aldabra and galapagos in the web.

So do they exist or have you seen any picture of them? Must be an extreme satisfaction to own a giant white shell tortoise in your backyard :D

* I have never seen or heard of an albino aldabra, however i have seen a picture of a galop. It was hatched many years ago and did not survive long.

Today we initiated the second phase (3 doses @ two weeks apart) of our biannual deworming process, it takes several days due to the amount of tortoises we have. Each tortoise is given a specific amount based on the individual weights. We use panacur and biltrcide for the adult aldabra tortoises. We fix a special combination of the drug, mazuri, cooked sweet potato, banana, on lettuce. They always eat it all without issues!
