I was curious the maximum temperature for the basking spot. My hermanns tort is about 4 years old and 5 inches. I built a new inside enclosure and my heat light is about 14 inches above the substrate. My temp right in the dead center under the light is hitting 101. Is that too hot? Just an inch or two to the right or left and it’s 98-99.
