Hello!
Just curious what is suggested on how often to bathe my RT? My baby is around 10 (guess of course :) ) I see where some people bathe every other day and some only do once a week. What's best? Thanks!

As long as the tortoise is active and healthy, I do not bathe any of my tortoises.

Okay good to have another opinion. My RT is still settling in but she's friendly and active as can be expected :)

Yes after a few months or so they adapt to you and even come out when you speak. And as long as you have a bath or tub you should not have to manually bathe your tort.

If the humidity is better than 45% and water is always available in a tortoise appropriate water dish, I feel there is no need to soak a russian. I do soak mine when I pull them out of brumation in that they haven't had an opportunity to drink.

My 2-3year old and my 5year old ever 2days!

My leopard hatching has been soaked once a day for his whole first year.

My Russian was soaked every morning for the first week i had him. Now, i do not soak him. He is outside full time with 2 water bowls.

Thanks! She always has water available in her cool end, so I won't worry about taking her out to soak. Thanks again!

You should try and increase your humidity a little, but there really is no such thing as soaking too much. your 1 year old I would soak every other day, but your other two you probably only need to soak once or twice a week.
